Problem for Audi 2003 TT i switch on & ignition fuse No.11 blows

When you look at a factory wiring diagram & follow
the wires from the fuse that blows,where do they go?

Have to test that circuit to find a problem

Maybe a fail Solenoid or 5 other things

The fuse no.# 42 - F42 (20A) = Radio fuse. The amperage is 20 A - yellow colour. See the picture below.

most likely the wiper signal arm itself if you have tilt wheel over time the wires stretch wear and break causing a short otherwise have a test light handy and with the wipers on position check for power at the wiper ,motor if none is present its the switch if it is present its the motor

It is fairly complicated to remove the instrument panel to replace the light bulb. It requires you to remove the steering wheel and airbag module and several other components.

The sound you hear may be the coolant pump for the turbo.

sounds like it could be a bad ignition switch

When your tmming belt went dint that bend the valves.Do a comprestion test firstly.As this is a interferance engine.when the belt snaps the likely of valve to piston contact is very likely.Also change the camshaft sensor.

Look at the schematic in your glove box manual. Track down your wiring circuit controlled by that particular fuse. You either have a faulty component other than your clock or a shorted wire. This can be a real bear to figure out sometimes. Remember do not use overrated fuses for that is the easiest way to have a wiener roast with your car as the bonfire.

In my experence jack-legs instaling new stereo equipment causes this type problem many times. You never want anyone monkeying with your wiring!

First check spark plugs/wires/distributor cap (tune up). Also would be good idea to use fuel injector cleane and change fuel filter and O2 sensor.

Had a similar problem audi come into my shop.  No headlights, blower motor would not work, wipers would not work.  After dinking around found ignition switch wires had burn't up.  Remove top steering column by taking out two very small philips screws from under column.  Look at top LH side of column w/ top cover removed.  Probably will find wires burnt up.

windows allthe way up, let go of switches
push them up again and hold for 3-5 seconds
ignition off
