You can buy aftermarket plugs that will plug in to your harness and have the radio wires on the new plug. This keeps you from cutting your harness and reinstalling your factory , if you decide to.

Radio display lights dont work but radio does 05 pacifica

If only the radio lights are out then the problem is either the dimmer wire to the radio is out or the lighting circuit is out or the bulbs are all out. Probably cheaper to have an aftermarket unit installed if it is just an am fm cd player. If you need to send it out for repair you can contact United radio. They also do alot of factory warranty repairs.

when dead the dial is dead, station scans dead too.

if totally dead, that is a loose or bad Radio fuse

I own a 1990 lincoln mark 7 LSC. My radio ( am- fm cassette ) is dead I'm loking for a factory am-fm cd radio or a replacement that when installed looks close to factory any suggestions?

Hi!!
Your best bet is getting a replacement from your local Junk Yard, this way you won't have to make any adjustments to the wiring since the plugs will be the same.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa!!

Will the wireing from a 2005 chev radio cassette

It will work as long as it's for a GM cd radio but as mentioned it will have to be re-programmed by the dealer.

If it's an aftermarket cd player, you'll require a separate module harness with a relay circuit for the airbags and tach information to function. Or you can purchase a re-location kit which allows you to locate your factory radio into your trunk to hold those funtions. The re-location kit is a fair bit cheaper than the module. It's stupid that GM would design a system like that but that's what you'd need.

99 olds Intrigue factory CD player problem

I am not sure about repairing the unit. Do you have a CD cleaner?
You might check with a reputable auto electronics shop, one that specializes in car audio. They may have an adapter that will allow an aftermarket radio to be controlled from the steering wheel. Rosen makes a nice am/fm/cd/dvd navigation unit that also has XM and iPod inputs. The hard part will be to find supporting interfaces and wiring harnesses to fit a 99.

Radio operates but no audio from speakers.

No its probably the internal amplifier for this radio that bad or the radio itself. I would recommend replacing with and aftermarket or a used original one its alot cheaper than getting it brand new, its kind of expensive for that car. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

Wiring difference

If your installing a stock radio/cd player from another Dodge the wiring plug is the same and will fit.If your installing a aftermarket radio/cd player(JVC,Pioneer, etc)you will need to buy a adapter plug that wires up to the radio and is a direct fit to your factory wire harness,so your not cutting your wires. When you buy the adapter plug it comes with a wire diagram of which wire is what.Your aftermarket radio should have a diagram also, either on it or in the manual.Hope this helps you.

1997 Honda Civic EX Keyless entry programming

If you still have the factory radio, there is a way to split the power wire for the factory radio to the aftermarket radio. All you will need are the power and ground for your aftermarket radio, so the rest of the wires should be untouched on the plug for the factory radio. You can simply re-install the radio within the dash and retain the keyless entry as well as restoring your dome light function. Here's a PDF of some instructions. If you did not keep the radio, I would suggest looking online or ins ome junk yards, because it is needed. www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/Honda/PDF/466013.pdf
