Check to see that the blend door linkage is hooked up. Doubtful it is heater core, as you had heat to one side and not the other. Check coolant control valve linkage, verify it is moving the coolant valve from off to on when you switch temperature from cold to hot. Verify you have coolant flow to the heater core by feeling the heater hoses where they enter the firewall. If all checks out well, then look at hvac controls individually.

How do I fix my heater in my 99 jeep grand Cherokee

There are two systems to evaluate.
  1. Air Blows Fine but not Hot -> Check Thermostat and coolant level.
  2. No Air Blows -> Check Blower Motor, Blower Motor Resistor Pack and Blower Control in Dash

Heat blows hot on passenger side and cold on drivers

More than likley you have a broken blend door. Very common!

this sight does a good job explaining the problem.

An updated kit can also be purchased from jeep and will require the complete removal of the dash and HVAC unit.

2000 jeep cherokee limited dual heat one side only blows hot air

You will have to check the flap operating controls behind the centre consol as anything could be wrong from a vacumn pipe to a operating mechanism ,even the computer controlling the climatic control .

My 2002 grand jeep cherokee is blowing out hot air on passenger side and cold air on driver side can u help also the heated seat on driver side has stopped working is this linked

Thats your blend air door. . .I had the same thing with my 02 Grand Cherokee and I think ALOT of other people have as well. I took it to the dealer and ended up costing right around $800, because they have to pull the dash apart to get to the blend air door.

I had heat in the drivers side climate control but not the passenger, now i have no heat. It only blows cold air. My AC works perfect yet no heat.

Hi.in the dash there are flaps which control's hot or cold, those flaps break and then you will only have cold air blowing. You will have to remove the dash and renew those flaps

Heat works on driver side, passenger side blows cold air.

Did you check your coolant level or was it low and you added to it at some point? If so the system my need to be bleed or worst case the thermostat is going bad.
