The bulbs behind my 2002 Saturn SL dashboard are burning out and I was wondering if it is worth it to try to change them myself. I have changed my front and rear lights, very easy, but getting behind the dash is a different story. I wonder if there is a manual (not in my car's manual, or at least I didn't see it) on how to do this. Any assistance would be very helpful, thank you!

I just got this done. You don't have to do anything under the hood. (i took too much apart. do not do that) remove the four philips screws from the wheel well covering. with the tire turned to the inside you can reach the seal cap at the rear of the head lamp housing. two clips hold the lamp housing into the electrical socket. use your thumb nails to spread the clips and pull the lamp housing out of the electrical socket.

Take off air breather tube, you should see a cone shaped part, on top and at back of engine right by the gas pedal cable. Remove the 2 10mm bolts, and it should come right off.
