Engine control relay - circuit malfunction ...Wiring, engine control relay ... replace relay change o2 sensor if you can afford it if not check wire from sensor to connector.
i think you have not reconnected a multiplug somewhere on the engine thats all their is to it something you have touched is causing this problem and without a good look myself i honestly couldnt say what the problem is but its something stupid like either a bad connection in a multiplug or you have just forget to re-connect one
Hi there?
It sounds like the injectors are blocked. the reason i say this is because the bottom of the tank is full of durt and it must have got through when it was low in diesel.
You need to get the car scanned, if the code p1517 comes up then the injectors are block for sure.
Good luck.........
Code P1517 is specific to VW (P0 = generic code), so this code must be retrieved specifically from VW's DTC list.
This code relates to a malfunction in your Engine (MAIN) Control Relay circuit
Please note that I said "Circuit". This doesn't neccessarily mean the Control Relay itself is faulty (although this component will also need to be tested), but means you may need to test every component related to this circuit, and also other related circuts.
Cheers,
