CAN'T REMOVE HEADPHONE SIGN ON THE AUDION PANEL, I THINK THAT IS WHY THE SOUND IS MUFFLED

if you could see it just remove your battery negative cable and i think its a 12,10 mill,socket you would need then unplug the wire and remove the old horns and replace them

You can try resetting the radio by removing power from it for a few minutes, reconnecting it and trying again. However, it sounds like an internal electronics problem that will either require a repair or replacement.

there must be something in the headphone conector. try to put a headphone to see if you hear something.

but. why would a radio for car have a headphone sign. it should have an AUX out maybe. what kind of radio is that?

the horn is located in one off two place in front of the radiator/core support or in the fender. If it is in front of the core support , you may have to remove the plastic cover to view it. Most times when there is a muffled sound it is because there are usually two horns a high an low and on has failed or corroded. No matter what style you have check for corrosion, because it weakens the strength of the horn. I hope this helps

Replace the horn.

If the advise came from a good reliable technician who actually looked at it then the advise is good (I'd opt for the cat but I'm not there to hear it) If you remove the cat and it runs fine then replace it.

sometimes a clogged catalytic converter can cause loss of power and make it hesitate . . anymore symptoms that u think it may be causin that? let me know i also own the same year integra

I would check the door lock relay first, beings you have issues with door locks.may or may not be related.
