Lights dimmed slightly, heater blows cold

As I was driving with the heater on, at an instant the head lights and dashboard lights dimmed slightly, the parking brake light and the battery light came on, and the pickup will no longer blow hot air. It seems, since it happened all at one moment that it might be a blown fuse or something. Is that reasonable? How do I go about fixing it?

My land rove dicovery, blows out hot air when you drive but when you are siting at the lights it blows cold air.also just got head gasket done.

when engien is cold ,top up coolant bottle with antifreeze and see what happens ,or the heater hoses are on in reverse

Head lights and dashboard lights come on and off

This is usually a sign of the battery wires not connected completely or the ground has become frayed and needs to be replaced.

Dash lights, starting, heater blower, head lights & blinker

Before going crazy with this, check all engine and body grounds to make sure everything is connected. it's possible something was left a bit loose when doing cylinder heads. Wont hurt to go over the positive battery and alternator connections as well!
