My 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe MIL light stays on. I took it in to dealer for repair. They reset it and said gas cap was not tight. I haven't refilled gas but light is back on. Can I reset on my own?

If it is still under warranty, take it back to them, tell them to fix it right this time, and yes you can reset only if you have a handheld device to plug into you car, still doesn't solve the problem though,"TAKE IT BACK"

Grounding is very important with sensors, especially with fuel systems. Your sensors could be defective as believe it or not, they do wear out or your float is sticking
