Clicking noise under the dash of a 2008 vw jetta wolfsburg addition

This problem is very common with MkV VW's. It's related to the heat and evaporator components. It's some sort of flap motor.

I have a 2008 jetta i have heard this same thing for over a year ready to bust dash out. Dealer thought ir was the insturment cluster but that did not work. Now they say it is the relay for the fuel pump states VW says it is going bad and echoing up the sterring colum

I hear the same kinda noise. Mine sounds like a knock but usually in the morning when the car is cold. If I go at highway speed, it doesn't occur anymore. VW Service wasn't able to diagnose it.
