check the long short of each side as one side may start long while the other started with a short . It depends on the valve that needs a short or long push rod.
A sticking or burnt valve . Don't waste any more money on it. Drive it till it dies or until you can get another vehicle. A head job will cost you. And could most likely blow out the rings. Burns oil bad.
there should be a fuseable link on the wires on the battery side for the solinoid they might be poped it sounds to me like your not getting power to the truck except the starter make shure all the wires are connected and check all the fuses
