I would try a basic tune up...depending on how many miles are on it..If over 75,000 miles i would change the fuel filter, air filter spark plugs, and spark plug wires...If engine maintenance isnt a concern I would look into Vacuum leaks...for a
I4 i would think you could get over 23mpg...I would also look at tires maybe go with a smaller sized tire your allowed 2 tire rim sizes up or down if you have abs( I would check where you live) hope this helps good luck

The stock size rim is a 16" just as info.. Try a 265/70/15. It will give the width and the heigth that is taken away by the one inch missing on the rims.

Need to know if you have a lift kit and what your gear ratio is it says 2000 silerado crew cab 4x4 long bed but is listed in 2000 jeep grand cherokee and need to know your size of rims and what you plan of driving on.
