Where is power steering pump?

For a 2002 pontiac grand prix gpt. Where is the power steering reservoir? Owners manual says it's low and below the engine between the fire wall and engine. I can't find it

The power steering reservoir is on the passenger's side near the engine wall. You will need a flash light follow the drive belt down past the alternator to the power steering pump.

Look for a black lid with a yellow steering wheel on top!
The engineers spent many sleepless night hiding it from view.

    A length of clear plastic tubing with a small funnel stuck in the top of it works well.

assume this is the power steering, normally the reservoir for the power steering in with the pump. The pump is usually belt driven and will be near the radiator

hello, the power steering pump is mounted on the passenger side of engine, towards the fire wall. it is mounted very low, very hard to see. the fluid goes in the top of the pup. here is a picture of the pump

Location of power steering fluid reservoir. I looked in the manual and it says should be towards back of engine on passenger side with a cap labeled with "power steering fluid" on it. I can't seem to find...

ok remove the coolant over flow bottle 2 10mm speed nuts lift the bottle up
now you should be able to see the power steering pump it is below the alternator

Add steering fluid in the pump reservoir. It is located in the left side of the engine. see picture..

Poweer steering

yes u have a power steering pump that is engine driven and uses PS fluid, the fluid reservoir is black plastic, it will be on the engine most likely on the passenger side.

Power steering fluid on grand prix

You should add it to the power steering pump reservoir, which if you have the 3800 series II its behind the engine on the passenger side.
