Air suspension doesnt work when the temperature outside is below 60 degrees 2004 lincoln navigator?

Usually between the frame and the rear axles. A lever type device, should be fairly easy to locate. Check that the compressor is building air pressure and storage tank. Air bags not leaking and etc.

check how old are the suspensions on ur navigator. if they are pretty old, they need replace.

Replace the air suspension with conventional shock/strut
conversions. The Air Ride System is not worth investing
time and money ,after the vehicle is 5 years old.
Too expensive to maintain ,and too difficult to diagnose

Next time buy the Ford version of the vehicle

The thing that most people don't know about air suspension is that the airbags are not meant to be in temperatures below 40 degrees and about 90 degrees. This affects Navigators more than I would like to mention. You will start having problems only when you are in those temperatures but then it will cause permanent damage. I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and checking out the conversion kits. They are powder coated American made steel coil springs. They are guaranteed to last the life of your car and can withstand any weather. The inflatrion air valves have probably gone bad. You can buy the valves seperate from the air bags but make sure your bags are in good shape. The air valves come (or did) with the new air bags. May be time to replace the rears with new. Hope this helps, please rate me high;

I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at our conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. Airbags and compressors are constantly having to be replaced. Also something alot of people don't know is that theses air suspensions are not meant to be in temperatures above 90 Degrees or below 40 Degrees. That is most of the world. The temperature will cause you to replace alot of bags. and typically when your replacing a bag you are going to have to replace the compressor to because the bag had a hole or small crack in it causing the compressor to over work and it will die. Check your Suspension relay under you front bumper on the passenger side most of the time it get loose or just corroded from the weather (snow , Water)... clean it up and put dielectric grease in it

your air compressor may not be working, or the air springs (air bag suspensions) may be leaking air.
