This problem could be a blown fuse or the relay (these are in two boxes near the battery), or possibly the switch to turn the lights on (on steering column), and small pssobility of a wiring (such as grounding).

To test relay just replace it with another similar relay with same spade configuration and turn the lights on, normally it's the multi function switch that goes bad, If you try a different relay and the lights don't come on then it is the switch. If you need some more help just answer the e-mail so I can give you more detailed information on testing.

Have a 2001 toyota sequoia sr5 none of map lights or lights when the doors open to not work and it also has the tempature and direction thing in the unit with the lights don't work eather have checked all...

in addition to checking all the fuses you may also want to check the functions of the relays. Sometimes you can remove a relay from another location and temporally test the relay that corresponds to the fuse or items that are not working. Hope this helps.

2001 toyota minivan wont shift out of park

Normally, an burened out brake light fuse will prevent the shifter from coming out of park. A bad brake pedal switch that activates the brake lamps could also cause this issue. A more remote cause would be a shorted out trailer harness, that is causing the brake light fuse to blow.
