It should be on top of the engine, drivers side, under a black plastic cap in the front. These cars used a cartridge type filter, which is just the paper element and a seal ring.
top of the engine you will see a 36mm hex fitting, if you are changing the oil you must undo all the way first before drainnig oil as if not oil will not compleatly drain
hi you will need a jack.the drain plug is located at the verry bottom of the engine on the oil pan.do not know what motor you have, but look at the new oil filter,and try to locate the one on the car (it may be a diffrent color),use a oil filter wrench to remove the oil filter.use new oil to lubricate the new oil filter rubber gasket,and put on as tight as you can by hand (only.)
From under the car, it's located on the passenger side of the motor.
It is straight up and down (well close, therre is a slight angle) towards the back of the block.
