If i put the ignition in my golf 1 off the clock and trip resets itself

Check the fuses. The constant power supply to the clock is gone. The clock and radio use a constant power supply in order to keep time and remember radio presets, when the ignition is turned on it takes over so if the memory fuse is blown this is exactly what happens.I hope this helps, take care. If you have any more questions about this vehicle or just want to say hi! Use testimonial Thanks

The clock for my 1999 mercury cougar does not turned off when i take out the key what can i do to fix it?

clock is always powered, with key on or off. If it went off when you turned key off, you'd have to re- set your clock every time you turned key on. your clock, brake lights, and headlights are all powered separate from the ignition switch.

99 lexus rx300 has engine miss on cyl 2,4,6 all

2-4-6 could be a fuel or ignition issue, hopefully not a valve. If you have the engine tested at the dealership they will attach a code reader under dash to analize and this should help pinpoint the problem.

The clock in my 2000 RX300 keeps resetting to 1 00 am every time I restart the car

I had similar problem in 2001 rx300. Every morning the clock
will reset to 1:00. Sometime this will happen when I started the engine. The Lexus dealership replaced the car battery. According to the mechanic, The Rx300 are very current sensitive system and even though The existing battery was 3 years old the cold weather made the current go below the allowed limit. That makes the clock reset to 1:00. After replacing the Car battery, the problem when away

2003 Toyota Highlander clock resets when I turn off the ignition

Have you checked any fuses? Does the climate control light up? If not then in the under hood fuse box (left of drivers side) check the ECU-B fuse should be 7.5 amp. Check the heater fuse in the fuse box inside the car it should be 15 amp. If the fuses are OK and only the clock is bad check out my site www.autoclockrepair.com I offer a repair service.

Electrical Problem

This sounds like a bad Earthing point off the ignition, fuse boards or battery, check ALL connections to the battery and earthing connections througout the vehicle, a long process, OR, you can take it to a vehicle electrician and pay them, the easiest solution is the latter.
