Looking for a color coded radio harness diagram for a saab 9000 cs. got one from 12volt. it was incorrect. the harness was spliced. i just need the color code for the wires.

You buy a harness from the the aftermarket radio shop that supplies you with the new radio.

if the stock pigtail is cut, that sucks! you can always get an adapter harness, even from walmart! plug and play. just splice the new harness into the new radio harness. easy as all connections are color coded. if you talk to a service writer at nissan, you may be able to get a diagram from them.

In New Zealand we can buy adapter harnesses,whereby you plug the correct one into yr cars wiring ,then specify what radio it is ie JVC,Pioneer,Sony,Panasonic,Alpine,then plug that one into the radio,and voila,put the two together,very easy

In 1995 they made different systems. If it has OBD, then it should be the conventional 16 pin connector, found underneath the drivers steering wheel area. If its the older type, then it has a 2 pin black connector under the center console area. Hope that helps

If you can't get from previous owver, then dealer is only way to get code. Should cost around $100.
