I need to replace the rear struts and spings on my 01 sable, Where are the top nuts to loosen for the struts

The bolts are located under the rear deck (where the rear speakers are located) inside the car. First start by opening the fold down rear seats. There you will find 4 bolts holding the rear seat back. Remove them. Pull the seat back forward and lay it down on the rear seat. Next remove the rear deck. There are 2 plastic push-in clips that hold the rear deck. They located toward the front. Pull them out. Now the rear deck can be removed by sliding forward towards the front of the car. Under the rear deck is insulation which can be lifted out. Under the insulation are the bolts for each strut. Remove these bolts and the strut can be pulled out.

97 Taras sedan SE style rear stut top bolt and nut location.

The top nuts are located from inside of the trunk. If you look behind the material that covers the wheel wells you should find the nuts near the top of the wheel wells.

99 Plymouth Voyager Rear Bumper

If you look up from under you should see some push clips. if your removing entire bumper with rebar & all, it's probably about 4 nuts holding it to bumper shocks, but be sure to look near ends at fenders for push clips , and or screws, and across mid section. watch it, it's pretty heavy with the rebar attached so make sure you have everything ready & remove nuts last, with some help to hold it up.
