1994 bronco eddie bauer. I have no brake lights

1994 bronco eddie bauer. I have no brake lights at all and no turn signals at all and I cant start it in park or I cant get it out of park. I can start it in neutral and move it. which tells me the brake pedal switch is not sending the signal. I have a donor bronco and replaced the brake switch, multifunction switch, steering column (I was replacing anyway, figured now was a good time) and ran a complete rear harnass from firewall to rear pluging everything in. Driving Me NUTS!!!! Can anyone help?

I have not really worked on Bronco much, but I don't get the connection between the brake and the shifter? The bake lights and turn signals often share filaments, through the turn signal switch in the column. And I can see the starter going through the neutral safety switch on the transmission. But the brakes should have nothing to do with shifting or starting. It is not that hard to see if the brake switch is getting current, and then follow it. You need a volt meter or test light, (from Habor Freight cheap), and then start tracing it. Trial and error won't work for wiring. If you need a wiring diagram, they can be found online, but you can also go to the library and photocopy for 25 cents.

I think there are 2 switchs on that brake pedal. You are right tho about the brake switch causing your problem.
If you fix your brake light problem your other problem will be fixed also.. check to see if the wires at the brake pedal switch are energized. I am betting on a ground problem.

Its pretty typical for those window motors to burn up. I had to replace the motor and switch in mine. Typically they run $40-$60.

Check your fuel pressure regulator. It may be ruptured allowing too much fuel into the system.

Cant find the inertia switch on my 1990 ford bronco eddie bower edition

The inertia switch should be located under the drivers side dash assembly near the steering column. It is very close to your brake light switch on the brake pedal. Hope this helps.

We have a 1994 ford bronco 4x4 eddie bauer, its been running fine and today it would not start. It has power, lights, doorchimesm, interior light all work. When you turn it over it just clicks. We tried to...

It definetly sounds like starter motor issue....there are 2 circuits within the starter motor, one is the pullin winding, that brings the gear close to the flywheel, and the motor windings that "cranks" the motor. It sounds like the pull in windings are working but the cranking circuit has failed.

This requires a starter motor replacement.......what you can do is "lightly" tap the starter motor with a blunt object and it might start once or twice, but a replacement is highly suggested.
