We cant go forward but we can reverse
You may have the Pivot ball has broken through the Clutch Release Arm.
It may not be the Clutch Master Cylinder, or the Clutch Slave Cylinder, or that the Clutch Master Cylinder has no hydraulic fluid in it.
You have a Hydraulic Clutch.
When you press on the clutch pedal, it pushes against a piston in the Clutch Master Cylinder.
(There is a rod that goes from the clutch pedal arm, to the piston of the clutch master cylinder. Goes through the firewall under your dash)
The clutch master cylinder piston, pushes hydraulic fluid down through a metal line. (Tube)
[The Clutch Master Cylinder has a small reservoir on top, with hydraulic fluid in it]
The hydraulic fluid going through the line, reaches the Clutch Slave Cylinder.
The Clutch Slave Cylinder also has a piston in it, and the piston pushes against a small metal rod.
The rod pushes against one end of the Clutch Release Arm.
The Clutch Release Arm is connected to a Pivot post, that has a ball like shape on it.
(It's connected in the middle of the Clutch Release Arm. The arm moves like a see-saw on a playground)
The end of the Clutch Release Arm pushes against a Throw-out Bearing.
The Throw-out Bearing pushes against 'fingers' of the Pressure Plate.
[This makes the round thick plate in the Pressure Plate move away from the Clutch Disc. The Clutch Disc is no longer pressed up against the Flywheel, and stops spinning.

I believe the Pivot post has broken through the Clutch Release Arm.
You may have a faulty clutch master cylinder or faulty clutch slave cylinder- leaking clutch fluid. most of the time both are replaced at the same time which should be recomended by your mechanic, the bolts to the master cylinder are very hard to get to and require the right tool.
you should be able to move car forward by selecting 1st then cranking engine till it starts, gear changes while driving are hard but not impossible. i recommend a tow truck to a local repairer.
