Kia uses tiny fuel lines and cheap fuel filters. Try new line from pump all the way forward and get a nice fat fuel filter that you can change from under the hood.
There is no carb, either throttle body or fuel injection.If it was fuel related it would not cause all the lights to come on.Sounds like electrical and will have to be tracked down and diagnosed. Your computer may have gone out but that has to be diagnosed.
It wont rev past 3500 in driving?
The governer on these is set to NOT allow a higher rev when car is stopped and not in gear.
Try to change oil viscosity or filter manufacturer.Some filter manufactures put in a bypass valve that kicks in too early.
It could be a any or a combination of failing components. If you haven't changed the fule filter recently (say within the past 20,000 miles) I'd change it first. Next. check the fuel pressure at the service port near the injectors to ensure you're getting the right fuel pressure to the injectors.
