What do you mean it didnt help? the sparks are still a flyin? Did you replace the spark plugs too? if not, replace the spark plugs. Buy the correct NGK spark plugs. Was the miss a all of a sudden thing, or gradual. If it has adjustable valves, have they been checked? You need to narrow down which cylinder has the miss and look from there.

Having cracked insulators isn't uncommon. The plugs could have come from the factory bad, failed from heat/cold cycles or have been mishandled during installation.

Do a spark plug condition check after running it and see what the plug condition indicates. Check to make sure the wires are well separated, and make sure the spark is not jumping from the wire to a ground (caused by a bad wire--plug condition would probably be wet from not firing). You may have a bad plug or wire even though it is new (it happens).
if the coil is arching still after replacing it new then replace the spark plug wires. faulty wires will cause the arching and so will a cracked distributor cap replace it along with the wires and your problem will be solved
bad spark plug, bad or corroded connection in the spark plug boot, bad spark plug wire, loose or corroded connection on coil post, or bad coil. but if possible... take a plug wire off a known good one ( if length will allow) and swap positions around, if it has spark, then you know your coil and spark plug are good and its time to get a new plug wire;( you should replace all of them though), Now if it doesn't, then the coil is probably bad. can i get a very helpful..thanks!
Change your plugs, sounds like they are worn and nit firing as strong when on a pull. Or check for jumping sparks from the engine area at night. It could be a wire jumping out sparks hitting any metal around the wire.
