To hoist your car with the factory jack, there are small hole covers below the doors for front and back, {4} pry the plastic cover about 2.5" in diameter, this will expose the strongest points to place the jacks prop shaft. good luck

How to put on an engine mount

You might need to put a floor jack under the engine and raise it up just a bit. Be sure you get the jack on just the crank pulley or you might crush the oil pan and do internal engine damage.

I cant remove the motor mount or timing cover?

It's as simple as unbolting it. If you don't have the strength, get a mechanic.

CANT FIND WHERE DOOR LOCK CODE IS ON USED 1998 FORD EXPLORER WE BOUGHT { NO MANUAL}

try looking inside the left back kick panel where your jack goes. When you remove the panel to put your jack in it will be located on the fender well, it should be a little black box with the code on it.
Hope this helps.

Hi my front offside suspention spring has cracked an i need too know how to remove it thanx . its for a renault 19 16v 1995 model

I have a renault 19 with the same problem on the passenger side front. It is a straight forward job, you will need two jacks, preferably trolley jacks. It would be alot easier (and cheaper) to completely replace the suspension strut itself rather than squeezing a new spring in. Jack up the car then jack the suspension to a point it will hold suspension in place whilst you undo the bolts etc. Once bolts are undone, SLOWLY release the jack on the actual suspension strut and remove the strut. To replace the strut, put new strut in place jack it up into place carefully so you get it to stay in place. Do up all your bolts, Slowly release jack on suspension strut, then release the other jack holding up the car. I would do this with my car, but i cant be bothered as it has numerous other problems and im scrapping it.

I cant get my starter back in

If you take the motor mount bolt out of the side the starter is on you can use a floor jack under the oil pan to lift the engine enough to get the starter in. You should put a block of wood or sometuing like it on top of the jack to protect the oil pan.
