The tie rods are part of the steering system not connected to the battery. If you have an estimate from a shop it should show a battery on a different line than a tie rod or tie rod end. Tires vary greatly in price depending on size, use and brand. Many tire dealer websites hae do-it-yourself tire pricing allowing you to choose different options.

2004 chrysler pacifica service tire system light is on. Replaced tires all around and aligned.

Make sure that your tire pressure sensors were not damaged. one simple way to check what tire sensor is causing the problem is to lower each tire individually and check to see if the message displays to a different tire or more than 1, depending on the TPM system your pacifica has. Chrysler has a TPM (tire pressure monitor) tester which can check each individual sensor for correct operation. and the sensor's batteries have typically a 5-7 year life span.

I got a tire blown on my pacifica can i take the rubber off the rim

Not easily and you will probably ruin the tire and possibly the rim. If you just want the rubber off a tire shop will do that for next to nothing. You will need to go to a tire shop to replace it so its done properly and balanced

Tire pressure is okay, but Tire Pressure Monitor System warning won't go off..why?

The tire air pressure sensor in the tire may have gone bad, that's the reason when you get a tire changed at the dealer they will replace the sensor for a new one. The old ones go bad after a few years, can recall what there life expectancy is but there is one. Good luck and hope this helps.

2004 Pacifica

Check air pressure in all tires sometimes 2 pounds of pressure difference will set it off and sometimes it takes 8 pounds. If a sensor goes out and you know which one it is pick up a new sensor at Advanced auto for 42 dollars and put it together with the one screw and go to Walmart and they will install it for 10 dollars. The sensors have batteries in them and they only last so long if it has been over five years and one goes out replace them all. The car will learn the new sensors in a few miles so just drive until the light goes out12_2_2011_4_02_28_pm.gif

2002 town & country "service tire system soon"

If all the sensors retrained, you either still have low tire pressure, or the computer which reads the sensors needs to be reprogrammed with a different tire pressure threshold.
