Can't find fuse box that is supposed to be located in the trunk.

Could be the trunk release relay ,located in the rear fuse/relay box . It's under the back seat . trunk fuse # 22 10 amp - located in the same rear fuse box. Could also be the trunk latch actuator ,could be a wiring issue , could be a BCM - body control module problem . The trunk lid open button is a input to the BCM . When the BCM see's this input it energizers the trunk relay . Do you know how to look at a wiring diagram an use a voltmeter to test automotive electrical circuits ? If not ,your best bet mite be to take it to a qualified repair shop.

It looks like the "luggage compartment lid release" fuse (15A) is in the number 1 position within the luggage fuse box which is located forward of the battery

The trunk switch must be combined with some of the other components because it is not listed on the diagrams. If the issue is a fuse, there should be something else that is not working as well.

The power block that includes the fuse and power relay for the power trunk lid are located inside the trunk. After you have opened the trunk lid (using a key), look at the left wall to locate the access flap that is cut into the trunk lining. The fuse block is underneath this flap. The 10 amp mini fuse for the power trunk lid is at location #22 and the mini power relay is at location #36. Check the schematic on the fuse block cover for exact locations.

The fuse is located under the rear seat in the fuse box.Trunk/valet fuse.

The fuse box is located in the glove box. The fuses you're interested in are fuses #13 and 25.

I have the same problem. Dealer was no help, they said that I should bring the car in and have them replace the fuse.
The manual must be for another Audi.

It is in the rear fuse block, in the trunk under the left side carpet. Good Luck
