Sound like your fuel pump quit working. That is what makes the buzzing sound from the back. Sometime if you have someone that can help you you can bang on the gas tank while turning it over to get it started to get it home.

when locksets start wearing out sometimes the key will only start the car with a certain side up. also you can try tapping the key when it is in and see if that works. It's probably time for a new lockset and key

when you say wont start you mean the engine spins over but wont run? if so, check the MAIN RELAY, real common. left front area under dash or left of drivers feet area. Sometimes if you rap on it, it may start. I cant tell you what to look for, but find a service book and check it out.
