My heater fan motor is squealing and seems to be losing power on
2002 Ford taurus. The fan doesn't seem to be putting out as much air as it used to and has stopped. Still works but squeals, is there some way to lubricate it or should it be replaced??

If you want to leave the heater inop the best way is to go under the dash you probably have to remove the cover under the glove cpmpartment Locate the fan motor and unplugged
Does it work on any speed..If not check the relay..If it works on high only,,its the fan resister..If all fails you have to unhook the the fan wire and check for voltage with a test light or multimeter..If you have voltage then the motor is bad
Have you considered flushing out the cooling system?? I think if the heater core is plugged up with a film internal your not going to get efficient heat
make sure the pvc valve is in place on the valve cover on the passenager side and also make sure the oil filter does not have a double gasket on it cause this will make it leak and the fan would blown oil back on the engine
