It is located, as you are standing, facing the front of the engine, on the left front side going into the valve cover.

It is a little silver part that rattles when you shake it.

Good Luck...

The 2001Grand Am GT has the PCV located, to the right side, a top the valve cover.
This is as you are looking at the engine from the front grill. A L shaped boot like a plug jacket is attatched to it. It is a no brainer, it would be hard to install it in reverse due to the different size ends. Hope this helps.

Have not had the pcv changed in a while and cannot locate it. 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix 3800 series 3, with super charger.

If I remember correctly this vehicle has a plastic plenum and the pcv valve is inside the plenum. Only time it is usually replaced is when the intake gasket needs replaced (and it will).

Where is the pcv valve located on a 2001 ford escort?

Standing in front of the car looking at the engine, if you look to the lower right corner of the engine, it's almost hidden under the engine there.

There is a black tube connecting to the pcv valve there, pull that up and out and you'll find hte pcv valve there.

If you need pictures, let me know.

Want to locate pvc valve on 2000 pontiac grand am 6 cyl

You'll find the PCV valve on the right side of the front valve cover. You'll need to remove the valve in order to troubleshoot it to determine if you need a replacement. To remove, pull the PCV valve out of the cover and detach the hose

Test the old PCV valve to determine if it needs replacing. Blow air through it in order to see if it is clogged. If it does not seem to ventilate, then you'll need to install a new valve.

Pop the new PCV valve into the spot of the old valve. With the correct part, it should snap right in. Take the hose and reattach it in order to complete the installation.
