I have a 1997 Hyundai Elantra and slid in to the rear of another car. Little damage to the paint but now the car will not start. Would the car have an emergency fuel cut off switch or relay?

My 2004 hyundai elantra brake lights are not coming on regularly. sometimes they all light up but most times they do not. All fuses have been checked...what else can be done?

Look at the brake switch. located just above the brake pedal, there is a plunger that goes in and out to make contact for the signal, sometimes the plunger sticks, could be the problem. If the lights are behaving abnormal, like some come on but not others, check the ground under the trunk trim by the latch. especially check it if the car has been rear ended. if the surface is painted, sand the paint off to make sure you have a good contact. hope this helps.
