In the trunk on the left side is access to the sunroof motor where you can manually close the roof.

I believe it is a 17mm nut. Also I think that the tire lug nut removal tool will fit.

I am trying to get fuse cover off to brackets are released but still secure. trying to replace fuse on my 1987 2.6 liter 190e class mercedes

2 forward brackets unclip and fold away and then door pivots up to show fuses. The screwed doen cover has 4 screws to come off uncovering the relays behind the fuses.

The first - the Routing Guide - shows the reference for the belt diagram (1987 MERC 190E) which is 6-2 on page 92 of the Guide.

Where is sunroof motor on a 1987 190e

hello ,the sunroof motor is located on the left side of the trunk ,you must remove the plastic cover and you will access to it ,just under the electric power antenna ,you can insert a box spanner to close it in case of emergency

MB 190E will start and stall within 2 seconds

cold start relay either the fuse in the relay, or the relay itself.

190E not starting. cranks over, but no go. Coil replaced, distributor thing looked at, spark plugs replaced.

plug gaps are critcally important & can stop it from starting
check for spark at plug ends
if none then the igntion module needs to be checked again
also recheck the timing!

There could be 4, 5, or 6 pulleys on the 190E 2.6. Here they are.

1987 mercedes 190e replaced spark plugs put new gas and filter and battery and oil change car start but wont turn over

hello,be sure your starter motor is working,fly wheel gear(for starter bendix drive)should also check,valve clearance also,try to rotate your engine with socket 27mm,(manually) maybe your piston is stuck-up,ty

I can't seem to find the button for the sunroof

I have an 86 190e too. Mine sunroof button is: Sitting in drivers seat look at your air conditioning vents. There will be (in mine) 3 switches above them. The one in the middle is the sunroof.Hope that helps..

Dash lights om 1987 mercedes 190e out at heater controls

Remove the metal part of the ashtray, you will see two screws that hold the ashtray plastic part on, underthis is the screws for the lower panel
You can now carefully lift the whole panel away.
