My driver side power window is not functioning properly. The window was cracked about an inch. Every time I tried to roll the window up, I would hear a rapid clicking noise coming from somewhere under the steering wheel. When I let go of the up button, the window would actually fall down about a half an inch. I have replaced the Power Window Relay in the fuse box inside the vehicle. Should I replace the Fuse in the power distribution box under the hood or what?

I would have to think that it is in the window motor itself instead of the fuse. If the fuse was bad the window would not work at all. The mechanism that controls the window in the door is where I would start.

Honda element no power to either window

Since you have power, once in a while, the fuse must be good. Sounds more like a faulty ground connection. Check all body ground connections on the doors and under dash. Therein lies your problem. When something electrical goes south on me, I ALWAYS check grounds FIRST. That's normally always the answer.

2002 gmc envoy windows roll down and up by themselves

The power windows on your vehicle are controlled by an electronic control module , as are the power mirrors !
Power Window System Components
The power window system consists of the following components:
• Driver door module (DDM)
• Passenger door module (PDM)
• Body control module (BCM)
• LR power window switch
• RR power window switch
• Window up and window down relays in each of the rear passenger window switches
• Window lockout switch
• Reversible power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)
• LT DOOR CB 25A (System power for left rear window)
• RT DOOR CB 25A (System power for right rear window)

Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.

Power window wont roll up on driver's side

If, when you hit the button, you do not hear anything at all, it is most likely the power window motor is burned out. If you hit the button, and can hear the motor running in the door, your window is either off it's track, or the motor is worn out where it connects to the cracking mechanism and is not catching it. Popping off the door panel will give you access and you'll be able to see first hand what it is doing once you hit the button. Less likely reasons are a disconnected switch, wire short at the switch, or condensation on the switch.

Hi, My 2002 Chevy Cavaliers windows have started having trouble rolling up. It seems they roll down fine, it's just when you try to roll them up either the 'button' doesn't work at all or it works...

Try spraying silicone spray down the sides (felt) where window slides (guides) up & down. Put window all the way down, spray them well, top to bottom, then run window up & down a few times. May not cure it, but should help. Be generous with it, but a little clean up later may be needed.
