The noise you hear is most likely the brakes there's a good chance that when you get the brakes repaired the other problems will go away as well, all the traction controls and stable-track depend on working anti-lock brake system. I hope this helps. Take care.

How to completely disable traction control on gm/chevy trucks and suv's. ... I got to anaheim the light of the ...
both the systems use the same sensor and rotor on the wheels so the problem points to loose wires/broken wires or dirt between the sensor and the rotor . You will have to check all wheels to find the fault . By your statement that it occurs on turning I would be paying serious attention to the front wheels as this is where dirt. sticks and other stuff can break or disconnect the wires.
Nope, but take it in. Brake problems are nothing to fool with They'll probabl tell you it's the ABS ECU. Not a cheap item.. However, it only affects the ABS system, not the brakes itself.
If you get an ABS (anti lock brake system) light on as well, you probably have a bad front wheel bearing (the ABS wheel speed sensor is built-in). Check the harnesses going to the sensors first, they may be damaged from turning. If no ABS light accompanying the Stabilitrak message, then you will need to get it scanned for a diagnostic code to further evaluate.
YOu need to take it to a shop immediately the stabilitrax and the abs indicators has to do with your car being stabilized and the abs has something to do with your brakes. Hope this helps!?
