Usually when there is an interuption in current flow you will get flickering indicator lights on the dash. This means one of two things, either the sensors that control those indicator lights are becoming faulty or the alternator may be on its way out. One thing you need to keep in mind if you ABS unit is on its way out you will not notice any difference in drivability. ABS is just a brake assist(Antilock Brake System) when it fails you don't lose your brakes you just stop like a regular brake system would without an assist.(ABS) Maybe the unitis on its way out as well.. I would ge it checked as well.. Good Luck

ABS/TCS lights on 2002 Honda Accord Coupe EX V6. Have high quality OBDII Scanner. Should the on board system report the problem to the scanner?

Only if the warning light showed on the dash...most often these abs sensors get clogged with brake dust or dislodged during wheel swaps if the pads are fine and fluid level correct...first check the brake pads then the disks and clean the sensors with an old toothbrush and reseat, also check the fluid level on the abs system.this should clear warning light.but any error codes stored on ecu need to be cleared using obd.

How to get the tcs light to go off on a 2001 honda accord

If the light stays on, there is a problem with the system that is preventing it from working. You'll need to have someone check the engine and body computers for trouble codes next.

Tcs light came on with my 2000 honda odyssey, what does that mean?

TCS = Traction Control System

The TCS light is on because the check engine light is on this is common repair the check engine light failure abd the tcs will go back to normal.

You need to check the code to see if it is a trans code and then if it falls under the bulletin limits Honda will replace the trans under warranty. Even if you are out of warranty Honda will sometimes do a partial warranty. Here's a copy of the Bulletin.

There are several things that will turn the check engine light and tcs light on .if you get the code I can tell you exactly what the problem is . on your year i see transmission problems as well as egr problems. if you go to any large auto parts store they will check the code for free or a very small fee.

Hope helps (remember to rate this answer).

My TCS indicator light comes on and stays on

some markets have a button on the dash with tcs/abs and a dash light saying "tcs off".if your car has not got the button then you cant turn it off(germany yes.uk no)abs/tcs should only be turned off in deep snow, otherwise best left alone, unless you have been taught how to drive with/without.....(on ice you wants the wheels to turn,on snow you want the snow to wedge to slow you down......)see what i mean???

My 01 honda accord had the "drive" light blinking simultaneous with the check engine, tcs, and sluggish driving. when i then put the car in park the "drive" light continued to blink. none of these...

First thing is to make sure you have a fully charged or good battery. If Ok
Use scanner and read codes.
Depending on what codes tell you do the testing and repair required .
Right now your TCS is not operable and the transmission is only operating in third gear.
Get back to me with the codes and we will take it from there. This could be anything from wheel sensors to shift solenoids,

ABS/TCS light keeps coming on.

no that does not seem right i would take it to a autozone and have them trouble shoot the code and then take it to a dealer and have them look at it

2002 honda accord tcs light comes on and will not go off

I assume tht is traction control. Check fuses ,eeven abs fuses ,traction control is part of abs. If fuses ok will need scan tool to find cause of lite going on. Most common are abs sensors and broken abs wires. And if abs tone ring is part of axle shaft some rock may have damaged teeth of ring .
