Hi
My son has a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT and has had the same exact problems, stalling out at a roll and then it got worse. Sometime it won’t restart for 5 mins.
We did these repairs new spark plugs & wires, New PVC valve because we found oil in the up intake manifold, removed and cleaned the upper intake manifold and throttle body, mass air flow sensor, etc. ran better but not fixed.
Than a few days later it completely died and won’t start. While testing all of the sensor on the throttle body I realized it was cranking fine but it wouldn’t kick over! I checked for spark, It was weird we had no spark at the plug now.
We replaced the whole Ignition coil and the problem was solved, $139.50 at the dealer parts department. We changed it in about one hour. Advance was $165.00 and Auto Zone was $159.00. The dealer was cheaper for once and an exact OEM replacement.
It’s been 2 weeks and the car runs better with more power than it has for awhile. apparently the coil was going bad slowly than dies totally.
That threw us off a bit.
This is the fix but make sure you check to see if you have oil in your upper intake manifold which when is sucked in can cause a stall out.
clean the upper manifold and change the PCV valve.
good luck.

Does the engine instantly shut off, as if you turned off the key? My '03 did that too. I'd have to stop the car, shut the ignition off, then start it back up. The BCM is the cause of the problem. In my case, my after market CD player seemed to be drawing too much current through the BCM. When I disconnected the after marked CD player, the car worked fine. Try disconnecting any after marked electronics, including CD player, Amplifier, Cell phone charger etc... If that doesn't work, then you'll have to replace the BCM.
I would check the crank position sensor, they tend to go bad but don't give you much warning until the car is warmed up. Otherwise it could be a coil pack, or a number of things. Please list what's been checked already and what's been replaced if anything. Also, an accurate account of what happens to make it fail and if you can restart immediately or have to wait. Also, any codes or check engine light?
