not all players play all discs
make sure that the disc you are using is appropriate for the player
blu-ray will not play in an ordinary player for example

CD player says no CD inserted the cartridge is full w CD's and the eject button doesn't work..sounds like it's getting no power and I can't find the fuse to see if that's the issue...help please

Needs a cd cleaner... It cant read the disc... Or something might be jammed

Im trying to install my pioneer navtraffic d3 cd player, but it keeps asking me to insert correct disc. Can i download and burn disc, or is there other option to get it to work.

If you bought it off some one, Ask them for the disk. Look online fro the download for you cd player, the other option.

Fix Error code 6 on CD player for 2003 Tiburon GT

From Tiburon owners manual: Er6 - DISC ERROR - CHECK IF THE DISC IS INSERTED CORRECTLY IN THE CD PLAYER.
MAKE SURE THE DISC IS NOT SCRATCHED OR DAMAGED.

Error one is unique to the disc being inserted into the player.
According to the service manual, this is the exact statement:

Err 1 appears on the display:
This indicates that the disc is dirty, scratched, damaged, incorrect (as in a "burnt" disc), or has been inserted upside down. Clean the disc or insert it correctly.

Toyota CD players are very sesnitive, and the svc manual specifically mentions not to use anything other than "store-bought" CDs.

Please be so kind as to clarify your question. What is a Gather's player? Do you mean "father's" and if so, which player? The Odyssey comes with 2 different media players, plus there is also, on some models, a navigation system that uses DVD media. I have seen some people insert the wrong kind of media in the Odyssey's DVD player, and this includes trying to play home-made movies that are not encoded in the correct format.
