the iac sensor is along the side of throttle body , did you give the throttle plate area a good cleaning out this is where the air path is for the IAC sensor , a lot of idle problems have been fixed with a can of throttle body cleaner and few good squirts of the stuff down the hole

1993 Nissan 300ZX idles high 1800rpm cold or hot.

yes, thats the typical symptom of a IAC valve giving you trouble, try cleaning it up but ull probabbly will have to replace it

Idles great like brand new. give it throtle and trys to die

ck your maf sensor. The first sensor out of the air cleaner. It controls Air/ fuel ratio. Good Luck, Ned

I would suggest a few things ... first and the most important... check that you have the wires in the proper order on the distributer. next have the timing checked.
