How do you remove the door panel on the passenger side to replace the side view mirror? What steps are involved in replacing the passenger side mirror in 2007 Camry?
To remove mirror pry off inside triangle panel(black) which exposes 3 nuts which are removed with socket wrench. Detach wire harness and pull out mirror assembly. To replace insert new mirror screws thru assigned holes and reconnect wire harness and tighten nuts to snug. Push inside triangle panel back into place and you're done! It's that easy.
First look for all the screws..it maybe two..1 by the door handle, and 1 underneath the doorlock switch..which you have to put out with a flathead screw driver..After that you just pop it out, and thats it...but make sure you unplug all the electrical items..door switch, window motor, and light..if you have power windows and locks...um sure you do, and for your mirror, after you get the door panel off you just pop off that black cover, and you should have 3 nuts..should be a 10 mm, loosen them up, and that is it..and just reverse the procedure...Goodluck....
