Hi guys i own a xregseat toledo 1.9tdi se mk 2 when i activate the remote central loking all the buttons drop except the drivers door this door you can open and the alarm activates can you help
Either the lock mechanism is broke or the vacumn pipe is broke that lead into the door to operate the lock but this is only on older models .That have a pump in the boot

There is only one fuse that mentions 'Locking', but also refers to the General Electrical Module (GEM). If you change the fob battery, you need to reprogram it to the vehicle. Or you could open any Transit around you. Lots of help below including resetting..

unlock with key and hold key over for 30 secs(windows may go down)then lock with key and hold over for 30 secs(windows may go up)then press remote unlock button and hold for 30 secs,you have just reset system...the closer you have to get to the car for the remote to work the lower the battery power.sensor on top of dash(little black dimple)rarely,if at all, goes wrong.....
try putting the key in the ignition and turning it to on then holding the unlock button for 30 seconds and then remove the key and try the remote if still no good go to your dealer and get them to reinishalise the system
Hi, The relays in the Golf Mk2 are in the CENTRAL ELECTRIC compartment where the fuses are found, above the fuse see that there are in the region of 8 or probably 10 relays there...
I recently replaced the Indicator Flasher Relay in there as well.
It means that the remote is not passing the signal to the car . The alarm has triggered because the system has detected an illegal entry. Replace the remote batteries
this model does not have a pump on it its all electrical
