Your dome light and fog lights may be integrated to the same fuse, check the fuses at your kick panel for any open circuits (blown fuses). Also make sure no fuses are blown under the hood.

What fuses go with fog lights on a 2015 Ram 1500. The schematics in owners manual do not list fog lights. Factory installed, they no longer come on but, shows up on the instrument panel.

Theory of operation. The bcm monitors the headlamp switch to know what is going on, the bcm then sends voltage to fog lamps, when activated. At the fog lamps two wire connector, the black wire is ground, the other wire is voltage comes from bcm. You can use test light to check voltage and ground with fog lamps turned on. There are codes for fog lamp, the two that I noticed, shorted to voltage or shorted to ground, these are B type codes, manufacturer specific. Check the codes.
I saw two 40 amp fuses going to bcm, those fuses are hot all the time. No specific fog lamp fuse because the voltage comes from bcm. Hope this helps a little. I can only help with testing.

Dome light will not come on when doors are open

Have you pressed the dome light cut-off switch by mistake ? Look for a tab rocker switch beside the headlight switch on the daash that has your fog lights on one flap and dome on the other.. open the door and press the switch both ways... maybe your just in "no-dome" mode ...

I purchased a used 2008 Jeep Patriot and it didn't come with fog lights. I have purchased OEM fog lights but I am having a hard time finding the connector plug to with them. Suggestion?

I have not run into this problem before. Usually, people either purchase the vehicle equipped with fog lamps from the factory or they add aftermarket fog lamps to the vehicle after purchase. In your case, you are trying to connect factory lamps that were not there from the factory? I'm not sure that you will find the connectors you are looking for. I do know for certain that the factory fog lamps are computer-controlled and that if the vehicle was not equipped with them from the factory, then the computer will not be programmed to make them work. If the wiring and connectors are there at all, they will be coming from the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) located on the left fender. The factory wires are WHITE/YELLOW for the left fog lamp and WHITE/ORANGE for the right fog lamp. What about control switches, wire, etc. Did you purchase all of that as well?

Fog lights not turning on

Sounds good to me except, the switch light shout be on the relay primary circiut and light off until you turn it on. When you turn the switch on, it lights up and energizes the relay, the relay closes and completes the secondary circiut for ythe fog lights. VIOLA' I have a silverado. done deal thanks

Headlights, door-locks, dome-light, all quit working at the same time ?

If the car starts to die and then it loses power in the starter...it's your alternator, if it just quits unexpectedly then it could be a wiring fault or a computer module problem.

Electrical problem

I just had the same issues. No headlights, interior lights, power door locks, radio controls on steering wheel, or dash lights. Pulled every fuse in cab and under hood, not a one was bad. I disconnected the battery terminals for a few minutes. When I reconnected them every thing was working.
