Error P2138 on Honda Fr-v 2008 1.8i

FRV OR CRV?
FRV IS EUROPE CAR ONLY.
ENGINE REAL NAME: 1.8 L R18A1 I4
SAME ENGINE AS SOME CIVICS HERE, USA
AUTO OR MANUAL TRANS? NOT TOLD
WILD GUESS AUTO?
sm states

Trouble Code Conditions:
APP Sensor A/B (TP Sensor D/E) Incorrect Voltage Correlation
Possible Causes:
  • Intermittent failure. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the APP sensor and the PCM.
Trouble Code: P2138 (1.8L L4 VIN - Auto)
APP Sensor A/B (TP Sensor D/E) Incorrect Voltage Correlation Print this code data so you dont know what APP means.
wall that TBW tech jargon, Throttle by wire.
it is a THROTTLE error.!
that has 3 or 4 TPS sensors and a motor drive to TV
the error means 2 of the sensors do not agree, Correlation error is that.
so is bad TB or bad pedal pots
the service manual tells you the tests with a meter to prove which POT lies .
APP is gas pedal module just above right foot.
TPS TV sensors are inside the TB throttle body, and most times
whole thing is changed out. to fix it. TB
The TB is that things the Air cleaner connects to, on top of engine
it is a large chuck of aluminum .

called TB (classic name)
THROTTLE ACTUATOR and
THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR
top center of engine , close to fire wall , facing engine.

photo below (civic) shows.
A does not agree with B
A = gas pedal pair of pots
B= TB
my wild guess is pedal module bad.
my guess APP pedal B is bad. and most cheap to buy. (?)

Error code p1271 on trailblazer

That trouble code is faulting the accelerator pedal sensor. The APP sensors are located in a TAC module mounted to the accelerator pedal bracket. There are three individual APP sensors within the TAC module. Three separate signal circuits, low reference circuits, and 5v reference circuits are used to determine the accelerator pedal position. The APP sensor signal voltages increase when the accelerator pedal is depressed.

Code 1481 and1271

your code P1481 is for the cooling fan speed the problem is often the wires and connector that go to that unit ... removing and replugging the connector sometimes fixes it ... also check the fan clutch and fan (not as often the trouble) .. there is a techniical bulliten out for this trouble .. (tsb050605012) .. sometimes the wire harness is replaced for the fan ...

your trouble code p1271 is associated with the accelerator pedal position sensor (APP) (right above the gas pedal) .. again check the wiring and connector going to the APP .. if the APP turns out to be bad then its not hard to change and requires no computer changes ... when you get an APP alarm then your car may go into a "reduced speed mode" ...
here is a list of the service bullitins on your trailblazer....

2003 Trailblazer loses power, I am getting codes P1271 and P1271p/d

#PIT3138A: 02-05 Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile and GMC Mid-Sized Utilities Reduced Power Light On and DTC P1680 P1221 and/or P1271 Stored in the PCM - kw fan clutch SES light power MIL 4.2 LL8 - (Nov 1, 2004)
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
Reduced power light on and DTC P1680 P1221 and/or P1271 stored in the PCM
Recommendation/Instructions:
Monitor the 5V reference to the Accelerator Pedal Position ( APP ) sensor, circuit 1274, using Peak Min/Max on a Fluke 87. Refer to Si document 1454678 for the 5V reference schematics. Command the fan clutch control "on" with the Tech 2 at 50%. If when commanding the fan clutch on, the 5V reverence spikes to battery voltage, the concern is the 5V reference shorted to battery voltage intermittently inside cooling fan clutch. Replace the fan clutch to repair this concern.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
Models:
(02 - 05 Chevrolet Trailblazer and Trailblazer EXT) and (02 - 05 GMC Envoy, Envoy XL and Envoy XUV ) and (02 - 05 Buick Rainier) and (02 - 04 Oldsmobile Bravada)
