Window went down and now it won't go up. we were driving home and the window went down. When we tried to make it go up, it slowly and jerkly (if that is a word) went up. It slipped down and I stopped the vehicle to push it up. We lowered the window half way and it would not go back up. I pulled it up due the cold temps and taped it in place. It is a 2000 Town and Country with 95000 miles.

You need to replace the window regulator and the motor as well if it isnt functioning. Once you remove the door panel it is pretty accessable and not a hard fix if you have basic automotive experience.

The engine has developed a misfire,most likely. Did the check engine light come on or start flashing? If so, find out what codes has set to determine which cylinder is misfiring and then proceed with the repair.
ck fuel pressure with fuel pressure gauge at fuel rail,,there should be a black cap on fuel line or rail on top of motor,,or u mite have a spark issue ck that to,,coil,,modular,hoped it helped,,
i think this is impossible to tell you without being able to drive the car.things are more complicated then we would like. the fact that taking off slowly also causes this jerking seems to eliminate an enginge missfire which would be the first thing that would probably cause jerking. does it feel like the rear prakes are sticking on thi can be a problem with the parking brake cables rusted inside ther casing.four wheel drive problems could be a u jouint or drive shaft issue. have a mechanic at least drive it to get som feel for where the problem is.
