ABS light comes on sporadically, o/d light starts blinking and the tranny seems to be stuck in low gear, winding up the RPMs.. HELP!!!!!
This might help a ton and save you money! So easy to fix, this video sounds like the same problem described! ABS light on, o/d flashing, check engine light on, tranny seems to be having issues, speedometer stops working. All fixed as described by the first answer james_hust , not tying to take your mojo but the video shows you what you need to do.
If the problem you are having is that anywhere below 30 mph your odometer goes all over but at 40 mph and above it is fine. Also your ABS light is continuously remained on the whole time.
This problem is a 15 to 20 min fix. Go down to your auto parts store and it will cost you under $20.00. The name of the part that you will need is called a magnet speed control sensor. This is located on top of your rear differential. You will have to crawl under your truck with a 3/8 inch wrench to get the job done. Good Luck!
