While your ball joints or a arm bushings might be and probably are bad if you haven't changed them ever, this problem symptom is from a bad wheel bearing. It's getting worse by the minute. It probably started getting bad with the bent wheel putting excessive strain on the bearing. Since it wobbles now it's probably done damage to bushings and ball joints. When a bearing starts to go bad, sometimes changing the other parts mentioned will tighten up the bobble temporarily and you might think it's fixed. But the original problem will just get worse and then you will just have to fix everything again. In short, replace the wheel bearing and the ball joints and if you can swing it the control arm as well. In fact do both sides at the same time since based on the age of the car and the fact you moved the damaged wheel to the other side, it will need to be redone now any way. And replace the bent wheel or it will just tear up the repair work you just did.

LoL i had same problem. changed tires, rims and still did it. finally after about 6 months i happened to jack up the car and checked the lower ball joints and both were bad, right and left. went to local napa store and bought both ball joints $100ea, and went to advance auto parts and rented for free (with security deposit that you get back when you return the tool) the ball joint removal tool. that fixed the problem.

My car was involved in an accident from previous owner when i drive it shakes i can't even see on the side mirrors .It was hit on the front right side! I drive a bmw 318i e30 m40engine

There is so much that could be wrong here. If you at lucky, it is just an wheel alignment problem but it seems more likely the frame/body is bent. Getting it straightened is not going to be cheap.

1970 ford f250 shakes real bad when I let off the gas. Any ideas I'm stumped

it depends what shakes ? if it only dose it when your slowing right down without braking then it could be an engine mount. if your braking it could be many things from warped disks to track rod ends/ball joints/loose wheel bearings. try and trace the shake. front right-left/steering wheel/back right -left.checks to do are, jack car up and hold the top and bottom of the wheel and shake it/there should be no movement/hold the sides of the wheel and shake it/there should be no movement ( on all wheels ) grab engine and shake it while looking at both sides ( checking engine mounts ) shaking can be caused by a number of things even bad shockers. good luck

When giving my 96 318i half petal of gas and turning left or right a popping sound comes from the rear

Most likely a bad CV joint (Constant Velocity). The CV joint is a flexible power transfer shaft that sends power from the transmission to the wheels. It has a rubber boot to cover the flexible joint. If the boot rips from old age, water and dirt get in and the joint wears out rather quickly. Take it to a shop for an inspection/estimate.

While driving the car shakes real bad and when turning to the right into a curve the car shakes, but does not shake going left into a curve

its possible it may be a bad inner cv joint as these can cause a shake when they start to seize and do not move freely.check to make sure that the wheel nuts are not loose and the front wheel bearings are not worn out and have excessive play in them,as if they do it can cause a vibration as well.

How do I adjust the handbrake on a V Reg bmw 318i ?

remove cover between seats to expose cable adjusters and back them off till slack. jack up rear of car (chock front wheels) remove a rear wheel stud and you can view the star wheel adjuster inside the drum, with a thin screwdriver wind it up till wheel locks then back off about 15 clicks, do same on other wheel, wind up adjusters inside car till wheels lock at about 5 clicks, check for binding when h / brake is fully down, thats it.

How do i bleed air from power steering pump from 2006 gmc duramax 2500

Routinely, you just jack the vehicle enough to have the tires clear the ground and with the engine on, turn full left till it bottoms out....then turn full right till you bottom it out and then repeat up to ten times.....

Car steering

There could be numerous problems going wrong. Your car is rear wheel drive so it could very well be a bad wheel bearing. If it is extremely loose it can cause a shake in your steering wheel. You may want to check on the condition of your tires and rims especially the left front. A bad tire can cause a shake and pull. If you know how to use your car jack you can try jacking the vehicle up, and put both hands on your front wheel and move it manually to see if there is looseness. Most shops only charge about 1/2 hour to shake down the front end. BMW parts are expensive so be prepared!
