Check the transmission fluid level then smell it if it smells burned have the fluid and filter changed if all is good try using a product called TransX you should notice a difference within 15 minutes. I hope this helps. Take care.

fuel pump relay . you should hear the fuel pump run for 5 seconds as soon as you turn the key on .after that the cranking sensor takes over when engine it turned over to start

according to my parts manuals for your jeep the trans filter is inside the transmission, u will need to pull the pan off to change it. Here is a picture.
