How do I know what fuses to replace to fix my problem? I jumped my friends car but put the jumper cables on the fuse relay instead of the battery. Now the interior lights, radio, windows, door locks, taillights don't work. I've checked all of the little fuses and they're all good, not sure how to proceed with checking the larger fuses and the relays. Thanks!

I went back out and checked the larger fuses too - every fuse in both boxes is good - what now? Thanks for your help!

I WOULD SUGGEST YOU REPLACE ALL FUSES AND RELAYS REMOVE AND TAKE THEM TO A MOTOR STORE FOR NEW ONES YOU SHOULD ALSO CHECK THE ELECTRIC WIRING FOR BURNT DAMAGE .

Check the battery and make sure the connections are clean and tight. If you are grounding the negative jumper to the engine instead of the battery, then make sure the ground from the battery is good.

Clicking sound with no key is the ignition. No lights, radio, nothing. It feels like the relay is vibrating.

Fully charge the battery first disconnect it from the vehicle, replace the relay borrowed from another spot, try it

In this situation I would check the starter motor solenoid, you are lucky the ECU did not fry cause it would cost more than the car is worth. Starter motor is not that expensive, also check all main relays and fuses. Check the wiring as well. If all fine the ignition coil and ignition barrell would be last. If it is possible plug a computer and run diagnostics too.

IF THE MOTOR WILL START WHEN YOU JUMP START, THE BATTERY IN THE BLAZER MUST BE LOW. USE A D.C. VOLTMETER, THE VOLTAGE AT THE BATTERY WITHOUT JUMPER CABLES, SHOULD NOT DROP BELOW 9 VOLTS WHEN THE STARTER IS TURNING. THERE IS A CRANK FUSE IN THE INTERIOR FUSEBOX. & A STARTER RELAY UNDER THE HOOD. BUT IF THE STARTER IS TURNING, THOSE ITEMS ARE WORKING. THEY ARE ONLY TO MAKE THE STARTER TURN. GOOD LUCK, DRVOLT.

A large fuse is blown close to the battery...40 or 50 amp....took out the alternator and several other things...since you know the reverse jump took the fuse out you can jump the fuse with a large gauge wire (jumper wire) and get it going or ...get the right fuse from the local parts house. This fuse is obvious when you look at it, might have a small plastic cover
