Turn key to "ON" position (NOT START). Press gas pedal smoothly and all the way to the floor 5 times. You'll need to do this in about 5 seconds. Light should go out. You may have to do this a few times but that's how it's done...Start car to double check.
Good Luck.

I have a 2001 buick regal the oil light is on as well as the washer fluid light are these the same prob or seperate issues. someone told me to change and flush the radiator fluid it will fix the lights

First thing to do is add washer fluid, second thing would be to check oil level, and add if needed, and if it's up to proper level, consider an oil change and filter if not done recently.

Change oil light on 96 roadmaster estate wagon. please help.

If you don't have the owners manual most of them were you turn on the ignition to run but do not start the car. Now push the gas peddal to the floor 3 times quickly. The light should start to flash then go out. Turn off the ignition and now start it the light should stay out if it comes back on there is most likely a problem in the ECM or wiring.

well, when you changed the oil filter, did you make sure to clean the surface on the engine side? make sure the last o-ring came off with the filter? Lubricate the new o-ring before installing?

I need to change my fuel filter on my 1996 buick roadmaster

Well the good news is is that this is a very easy repair that will take only a few minutes. The fuel filter is located under the car beneath the driver side rear door. You don't need any special tools. I beleive that there are two bolts that hold the filter and that the lines are held on by clamps. I would have a small bucket handy as a little gas will spill out when you take the lines off. write back and tell how it goes.

Can you tell me where my oil filter is located on my 96 buick roadmaster

From under the car, it's located on the passenger side of the motor.
It is straight up and down (well close, therre is a slight angle) towards the back of the block.

Need to know how to change an outer tie rod on a 96 buick roadmaster

you will need to back off on the lock nut on the tie rod end then remove the tie rod end from spindle turn tie rod counting the number of turns to take it off put new tie rod the same number of turns put back in spindle and tighten lock nut your steering wheel will probably be off center so you will need to have the toe reset on the alignment machine
