Location of the headlight relay.

Has no headlight relay ! your headlamps not working ? high or low ? You have a headlamp switch an a dimmer switch for low or high beams ! The main light switch should have battery + voltage all the time .You can go to http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams ! Shows fuse's , connectors an wires at main light switch an dimmer switch ! Suggest you go on youtube an watch a few videos on electrical circuit testing an how to read a wiring diagram ! Pull the main light switch out of the dash an test for B+ voltage an test at the dimmer switch too. Test the whole circuit !

Need to locate the main relay for the interior fuse box

I'm not familiar with the car or location of relays. But if all circuits are live under the hood and dead inside I would trace the main wiring harness to where it enters the firewall and disconect it and check for corrosion, broken or heat damaged wires and terminals.

I have a 1996 Acura 3.5 R.L. just put a new fuel pump in and it won't start. It turns over, but will not stay started.

Check your main fuel relay.

Fuel Supply System

PGM-FI Main Relay

Description

This PGM-FI main relay is located behind the dashboard

lower cover. The PGM-FI main relay actually contains

two individual relays. One relay is energized whenever

the ignition is on. It supplies battery voltage to the PCM,

power to the fuel injectors, and power for the second

relay. The second relay is energized for 2 seconds when

the ignition is switched on, and when the engine is running.

It supplies power to the fuel pump.

Relay Testing

NOTE: If the engine starts and continues to run, the PGMFI

main relay is OK.

1. Remove the PGM-FI main relay.

2. Attach the battery positive terminal to the No. 3*

terminal and the battery negative terminal to the

No. 2* terminal of the PGM-FI main relay. Then

check for continuity between the No. 5* terminal and

No. 2 terminal of the PGM-FI main relay.

• If there is continuity, go on to step 3.

• If there is no continuity, replace the relay and

retest.

3. Attach the battery positive terminal to the No. 4 terminal

and the battery negative terminal to the No.

7* terminal of the PGM-FI main relay. Then check

that there is continuity between the No. 3 terminal

and No. 1 terminal of the PGM-FI main relay.

• If there is continuity, go on to step 4.

• If there is no continuity, replace the relay and

retest.

4. Attach the battery positive terminal to the No. 1 terminal

and battery negative terminal to the No. 2*

terminal of the PGM-FI main relay. Then check that

there is continuity between the No. 5* terminal and

No. 2 terminal of the PGM-FI main relay.

• If there is continuity, the relay is OK;

If the fuel pump still does not work, go to Harness

Testing on the next page.

• If there is no continuity, replace the relay and

retest.

How do i test main relay and distributor for lack of spark,on a 1990 honda accord,2l

Not sure since you are stalling that either one of these is your problem. I can tell you that if you are having a no start situation when it is warm/hot outside that the cause most likely is the main/PGMFI relay which is common for that year Honda. Below are some tests for both the relay and the ignitor inside the distributer you basked for. As I said heat causes problems for the relay so it may test good but as it gets hot outside it may test bad. Hope this helps.....

Where is fuel pump main relay

Grab a Haynes manual #42014 and on page 4-4 it explains how to test the main relay. The main relay is located up under the instrument panel, attached to a bracket on the left side of the steering column. Also, check the number 1 fuse or the ACG S fuse found in the engine compartment. Both of these fuses are 15 amp.

Main relay assembly for 1995 Honda Accord

the relay cover slides off very easily so you can expose the circuit board take your pgmfi relay apart and you will see two small relays on the board look at the contacts for the relays to see if theyre burnt then turn the board over and look at the sauder joints at least one of these will probably be burnt or not enough sauder will be ther to make a good connection.Look real carefully at these i use a magnifying glass my self because i have seen numerous times where the sauder will have a small crack (like a ring or circle) around it causing a poor connection these are the most common problem with these relays (almost the only problems) i have seen in the past six years that i have worked at my local honda dealer
