How do i find the trouble codes where the odemeter is? i have read turn the key 3 times or hold down something and turn the key. which is it?
Cycle the key three times. (turn from off to on)
Basically, it goes like this.
Insert key into ignition.
Turn forward to the 'on' position, the one just before cranking.
Turn back to off.
Turn forward to on again, and then back off.
Forward once more, and leave it there.
You should get a DTC (Diagnostic trouble code) that displays on the odometer.
If all is well, (or deemed well by the computer) you'll receive a message of 'done' instead of a PXXX (xxx=numbers) Code.
