I had the same thing happen on my 08 Sahara Edition. Has not happened again since that time. There have been quite a few problems with the TIPM (totally integrated power module).

I have a 2007 unlimited 4 door . I went over a very bumpy road half way through the jeep was shaking like a tire was falling off and my steering was tight.

its your steering dampener. It is inadequate. If you dont get it fixed it could eventually snap your dampener off of your front axle where it is welded. This happened to mine. Jeep is aware of the problem, but doesn't like aknowledging it because it is referred to as the "death wobble." Jeep fixed it by putting an upgraded steering dampener on and i haven't had the problem since

Jeep 2007 Wrangler Unlimited X 4x4 4 Doors

Sounds like a short in the electrical system. Maybe even just a loose ground wire. On the other hand...It could just as easily be a bad ECM (BRAIN)! Warranty still in tact? I hope so. Diagnostic at a certified Jeep shop... Good Luck!

I bought a used 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4 Door from a Jeep dealership and did not recieve an Owners Manual with it. Now I have a great vehicle and no way to find out about it unless I'm willing to buy...

Blame it on the former owners. I don't know why it is, but some(rather a lot) of people take it out and into their home to read something and NEVER put it back. The used car department isn't really responsible for it. Just like extra keys and remote. A family member trades in a vehicle and only one of them is there to do the transaction, therfore the extras are back home or in her purse. Look on Ebay or craiglist for these.

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves the replacement of the engine camshaft sensor.
MODELS:
2007 (JK) Wrangler

EGT).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may experience one of the following conditions:
a). Long engine crank time.

c). Due to the “TIP Start Feature” on automatic transmission equipped vehicles, once the

Dosn't turn over

First, verify the actual voltage at the battery with a voltmeter. Second, make sure terminal connections are clean and secure at both terminals and the other ends of the battery cables as well. Also find the source of the noise you hear...If it's coming from a relay, find out which one now, before it completely fails and is more dificult to locate. (do not change it till you verify all connections are good and actual voltage is good.
There are a few more tests you can do but do these first.

Two front automatic windows will not work

Check the door connectors. Remember your Jeep was designed to have it's doors removed? Start there.
If no luck pull the dahsboard switch apart and reverse the wires front to back.
Unless you're over 36,000 miles it should still be covered under warranty.
