My 2004 Pacifica is in immobilizer mode. I have only ONE key, properly programmed, of course, but I'd lost it, and in an attempt to see if I'd left it inside the car, well, I basically opened the car door through the ajar window......DUMB, DUMB, DUMB. Had I known this would've been the outcome, Id have waited until I found the key. (Which, by the way, I found 14 hours later, after having gone through my house like a mad woman.............was under the REFRIGERATOR!). So, like a ****, I opened the door, thus, enabling the alram. In a panic I pulled the positive terminal to the battery...........and.........well, here I am. After having assumed (once I found the key, that is) it was the battery, I jumped it, then discovered the "service immobilizer" light on the dash-flashing, ever so mockingly at me, as if were saying "kiss my A**, ****, I aint doin' nothing'). I am literally stuck here, at home-39 miles from closest dealer. Plus, my one and ONLY experience with that particular dealer was less than admirable (on their part), and I had to obtain legal representation; I took it there for brake pads, left with a $4300 bill for alternator replacement, exhaust replacement, rotors, a/c control module replacement-of which NONE were never even discussed, let alone failing or "bad" too begin with. So, that is the last place I need to go right now. ANYWAY......... If you can definitely help me disable it, please respond! Although, please know, that I have only one key; it is my understanding that I need 2? Help! I'm desperate!

You are right 2 keys are needed to reset the system. or of course the dealer will be able to cut you a new key and program it. You really should have 2 keys for the car anyway.

2007 Chrysler Pacifica. The service immobilizer light came on and car won't start. The car won't start at all due to this?

Question edited to add some real sentences.
Question moved to model category.

Not sure what you mean you "got a key programmed already". The key and the vehicle need programming together at the same time using a professional grade scan tool computer.

You need to reset the immobilizer and security system. There are details here. Do you have a voltmeter? If the battery is below 11 volts, the security systems will fail. If the ideas here don't work, you need an auto electrician or an auto locksmith to diagnose and fix. Looking at the wires on the PCM won't help much. The PCM is the Powertrain Control Module, your antitheft and immobilizer is a joint effort between Body Control Module, Engine Control Module and Antitheft Security Module.

It show's key lock and can't start again

what it shows means that you have either a lost program on you ignition key,or the immobilizer been activated. It needs resetting the immobilizer or renew the key with the program.

2004 PACIFICA WONT START SERVICE IMMOBILIZER LIGHT ON VEHICLE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING

OK, if the vehicle won't start and the service immobilizer light is on then I would definitely take it to the dealer in order to have the key programmed to the computer, again.

Did the battery go dead lately? Is there a code associated with it not starting, as in the immobilizer function lamp?

or the key is not programmed to the ecm?

P0633 Immobilizer Key Not Programmed ECM/PCM
This is just a possibility to look into.

2004 pacifica service immobilizer message on. Car will not start using both sets of keys. Please help!!!

There is a little black plug under the steering wheel near the center console. That little plug is the immobilizer I believe. If it is loose or missing, the car will not do anything, hopefully yours is laying in the floorboard somewhere!

Switch ignition ON and OFF within 15 seconds. Using second programmed key, proceed as follows: Switch ignition ON and OFF within 15 seconds. Within 10 seconds: Immobilizer LED flashes. Programming mode activated (acoustic signal will be heard). Proceed as follows: Within 50 seconds: Insert first key to be programmed into ignition switch. Switch ignition ON and OFF. Within 10 seconds: Single acoustic signal will be heard and immobilizer LED stops flashing and illuminates for 3 seconds to indicate correct programming. Repeat complete procedure to program remaining keys. Keys can also be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
NOTE: A maximum of 8 keys can be programmed.
